Austin counsels and represents clients on insurance coverage matters, claims handling issues, and bad faith litigation. He has handled a broad range of litigation matters in both state and federal courts across Texas and has experience in first-party and third-party insurance disputes involving commercial property, commercial general liability, and homeowners’ policies. Austin provides advice and analysis to clients on coverage issues, pre-litigation strategy and dispute resolution, and litigation.

Austin studied philosophy at Baylor University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 2016. He earned his law degree, cum laude, from Southern Methodist University in 2019.


Austin is admitted to practice law in Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

When Austin is not at the office, he can be found walking his dogs on the Katy Trail with his wife, reading science fiction novels and second-hand philosophy books, or watching his Dallas Stars.
