Aaron Stendell became licensed to practice law in 2011 after graduating cum laude from Southern Methodist University School of Law.

He was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient and was awarded the James E. Beckley Scholarship and the Ben Love Memorial Scholarship, presented by the Insurance Law Section of the Texas Bar Association. During law school, Mr. Stendell was an articles editor for the International Law Review Association and was a member of Phi Delta Phi and the William “Mac” Taylor Inn of Court. Mr. Stendell also served as an intern with the Collin County and Dallas County District Attorney’s Offices, where he tried several cases. Mr. Stendell’s article, “Structured Products Regulation in the Wake of the Financial Collapse,” was published in the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association Bar Journal.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Stendell graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.A in Business Administration and received his M.B.A. with a focus in Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas. Before joining TBMM, Mr. Stendell was a securities regulator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) for over five years.

Mr. Stendell is a member of the Insurance Law Section of the Texas Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Association, and the ABA. He primarily practices in the areas of insurance coverage and litigation.
